Before sealing your driveway, check carefully for cracks. If you find any, make sure to fill these in before you seal the driveway. If you miss these cracks, you’re going to have a tough time filling them after the fact.

Once you’re ready to seal, make sure you’re doing so with the proper equipment. It’s recommended to use a squeegee no smaller than 18 inches wide. Any smaller and you’ll be giving yourself a much harder job than is necessary, as you’ll be covering less surface area. Also make sure to wear the proper personal protective equipment and to clear the area of any trip hazards.

Once you’ve sealed all the way to the end of your driveway, make sure you’re creating clean edges for a professional-looking finish. Once you’re done, you’ll feel proud knowing you took the job on yourself. You’ll now be able to save a lot of money resealing your driveway in the future.

Masonry is a time-honored construction technique that involves the use of brick, stone, concrete blocks, or other similar materials to create structures. Structures built using masonry techniques are known for their longevity and ability to withstand the test of time. This is due to the inherent properties of the materials used, such as brick or stone, which offer excellent resistance to fire, weathering, and other environmental factors.

Masonry offers a wide range of design possibilities. Skilled masons can create intricate patterns, shapes, and textures using different types of bricks or stones, allowing for unique and visually appealing structures. From ancient pyramids and medieval castles to contemporary buildings, masonry has proven its versatility and adaptability across various architectural styles.

Masonry also boasts excellent thermal insulation properties. The materials used in masonry construction have high thermal mass, meaning they can absorb and store heat, helping to regulate indoor temperatures and reduce energy consumption. This feature contributes to improved energy efficiency and can lead to long-term cost savings.
